Confirm sound mind and voluntary consent, ensuring your are not being rushed or pressured to make a decision.
Protect non-titled spouse’s, especially regarding estate and equity implications.

INDEPENDENT LEGAL REPRESENTATION

Independent Legal Representation (ILR) is ongoing legal support, offered alongside ILA or separately. While ILA ensures understanding, ILR ensures action - your legal advocate through every stage of the transaction.
ILR includes:
Document review, title searches and mortgage registration.
Coordinating with the lender’s legal team to manage deadlines.
Corresponding with third-parties to order discharge statements, notify of an ownership change or request specific documentation.
